Marxian Interpretation of Civilisation

Increase of productive forces causes increase of production and conversation of village into city. City means habitation of large number of people in a place and trade , industry and creation of different occupation such as businessman, priests. In cities different types of conveyances for communication and trade was available. This cities was generally developed on the bank of rivers or lakes. Here they remained engaged in fishing, husbandry and small scale industry. Irrigation was developed for increase of agricultural product.
Along with the development of civilization different types of industry began to grow. Previously, earthen pots were prepared by hand . Now it was prepared by wheel. Use of wheel increased amount of production. A separate class of persons known as craftsman were developed. At the beginning the females were engaged in the profession, now males were also participating.
Materials were also prepared out of stones. Not only the utility goods were prepared, different idols and luxury goods were also prepared.
Bronze was discovered by this time and different weapons and equipment for productive materials were also prepared.

Communication was done with the help of boats
Bullock cart was developed by this time. Balance for weighing materials was also discovered.Another types of persons developed for doing paper works.
Previously, people was in the habit of worshiping in their own house . Now worships of idols were arranged as a community affairs.
